Lifegroups
Lifegroups. Doing life together. Why is that so important? I mean, we meet together on Sundays, we have church fellowships and events, what is the big deal about Lifegroups? Well, as with every other aspect of his life Jesus modeled this example for us as well. He spoke to large groups throughout His ministry but He poured Himself into a small group of men and women. There is a freedom, a letting down of the guard so to speak, that occurs when we meet in small groups. Isolation is a primary tool of the enemy. Everything looks bigger and darker when you are facing it on your own. That is why we offer several different types of lifegroups that meet during both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. service times. Crossgate Church has several hundred members and attendees. Together we can watch God do great things in our church, in our community, and in our world for His Kingdom. But Lifegroups are where we form real, authentic, deep relationships together. These groups can be built around people of the same age or they can be built around a favorite activity. They can meet in a classroom on campus or in homes all across Hot Springs. The important thing is that people are connecting at a level that is impossible to do in a large group. Still not convinced?
